After Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti wrote an apology letter in response to a fan throwing an unidentified object at Mahira Khan during the Pakistan Literature Festival in Quetta, actor Yasir Hussain clarified his stance.

Yasir Hussain updated his account on the photo-and video-sharing platform Instagram, posting a screenshot of Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti’s apologies along with the news.

The actor remarked in the narrative, “What happened to Mahira Khan during the Pakistan Literature Festival in Quetta is not such a big deal.”

The actor said, “It’s not a big deal, it happens everywhere in the world, it’s a normal behavior.” There were 10,000 people who had come just to see Mahira Khan, what happened if one of them threw a bottle at them, the whole city cannot be judged by this act.

Yasir Hussain described his experience of being impressed by Quetta’s hospitality and further wrote that, “I had the opportunity to visit Quetta many times, its citizens are very hospitable.”

He stated that, “Citizens of Lahore and Karachi often see well-known personalities in malls and restaurants, but this does not happen in Quetta.” Quetta is a stunning city in our nation; more events like this ought to be held there.

It should be remembered that during the Pakistan Literature Festival held in Quetta, an unknown object was thrown at Mahira Khan, on which the actress immediately panicked.

“It is unethical to throw anything towards the stage during any session, even if it is a rose in a handkerchief,” Mahira Khan later stated in her tweet. I was terrified of myself after this accident, not of other people.

I felt that now the crowd will get angry and something unpleasant will happen.

After Mahira Khan’s statement, Balochistan Chief Minister apologized for the incident that happened during the session with the actress and called it shameful.
